Advantest

The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for customer site preparation consultation, on-site installation, implementation planning, maintenance and repair of Advantest systems solutions.  This will include hardware (electrical and mechanical), software and networking products as well as operating systems.  Install and optimize hardware/software products and configurations at customer sites.  Perform on-site calibration services, mechanical adjustments and alignments per Advantest recommended intervals.  Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve product performance problems.  Perform on-site maintenance and repair services.  Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance, best known methods/practices and configurations, which may impact product system uptime performance.  Provide high level of communications both verbal and written (emails, Excel, PowerPoint).  Facilitate technical meetings with customer and Advantest service team members every other week.
