Advantest

The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for customer site preparation consultation, on-site installation, implementation planning, maintenance, and repair of Advantest systems. This will include hardware, software, and networking products as well as operating systems. Install and optimize hardware/software products and configurations at customer sites. Perform on-site calibration services per Advantest recommended calibration intervals. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve product performance problems. Perform on-site maintenance and repair services. Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance, best known methods/practices and configurations, which may impact product system uptime performance.

 

Responsibilities include:

Working within established policies, processes and procedures, deliver hardware support services for Advantest’s fully integrated ATE system solutions
Solve complex problems related to system uptime or availability
Failure data and parts usage analysis (Excel)
Strong teamwork and communications with local support team members and management
Respond to all hardware technical support needs from the assigned account(s).
Ability to ‘work-to-completion’ upon short notice which requires working overtime
Timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks associated with the task performed
