Position Summary:

The Marketing Communications Specialist role supports the team through graphic design projects, review and refinement of company presentation materials and support for ongoing advertising programs and creative activities. This role is also responsible for the management and maintenance of the corporate Digital Asset Management system (image, document and video database). This position is based at Amkor’s corporate office in Tempe, AZ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Graphic creation and design proficiency required: Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D Modeling (Solidworks) a plus
  • Support corporate communications projects as directed by management, including implementation of corporate brand and initiatives
  • Provide creative support for ongoing advertising for both electronic and print media
  • Support creation and maintenance of technical documents using InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Review, proof and route Marcom projects to appropriate divisions, securing input as schedule requires
  • Provide support for corporate branding and corporate PowerPoint templates – become “expert resource” for review & editing of sales & product group presentations
  • Provide support for ongoing tradeshow, technical conference and customer & sales event activities
  • Manage the Digital Asset Management system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining the system (adding and archiving assets)
  • Responsible for assigning permissions and tagging appropriate metadata for assets and ensuring accurate usage rights for company digital assets
  • Distribute newly created material to corporate and sales staff; update MarCom pages on Intranet and external web site
  • Production support – presentations, schedules, calendars (must be proficient in MS Office Suite)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications required. Minimum of 3 years related work experience required.
  • Graphics and desktop publishing proficiency required: Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D Modeling a plus (SolidWorks)
  • Proficient working knowledge of PC computer tools/software: Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); WordPress web software, database software (Constant Contact)
  • Digital Asset Management experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharp grammar and proofreading ability
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience handling multiple projects, changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, assertive with sound business judgment
  • Smart thinker, excels under pressure and demonstrates dependability
  • Ability to interact professionally with various team members, outside agencies and business partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous semiconductor or technical marketing support experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience in intranet/internet web page development a plus
  • Adobe Premiere/After Effects knowledge/ability to create and edit video is a plus
