Amkor is recruiting for a Manager, Customer Service based out of its San Jose, CA office. This position has tactical responsibility to support one of Amkor’s largest accounts and will be responsible for all aspects of the customer service engagement. You will work directly with Sales Account Managers to support new business opportunities, sales objectives, and revenue goals and requires interaction with cross functional groups worldwide to meet overall customer requirements.

  • Manage the business indices for the assigned customer accounts
  • Project management with regards to customer’s SAP activities, QBRs, customer meetings and revenue recovery
  • Submit customer RFQ’s, respond to Pricing Issues within SAP on a daily basis; address special requirements that had not been quoted and bring to a resolution in a quick manner
  • Provide PO acknowledgement, confirm PO accuracy, maintain PO tracker, ensure invoice issuance to POs
  • Provide forecast and commit analysis, track Non-Recurring Expenses (NRE), Rebates, Monthly Billing Process
  • Create Sales Orders for multiple groups with different needs, requiring attention to detail and flexibility
  • Manage the inventory and provide updates to customers on current excess materials

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required in the areas of business, marketing, finance, economics or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years of related/industry inside sales or customer service experience is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
  • Proven problem solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to be self-directed and work independently as well as within a team, with strong organizational skills
  • This is a career oriented position that requires flexibility with hours to support the business needs and total commitment towards customer service
  • Previous experience with SAP or SalesForce is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Lotus Notes is a plus
