Amkor Technology is currently seeking a Sr. Director, Sales in our San Jose, CA office. This position has total account responsibility and ownership of the profitable revenue growth and market share penetration of the assigned accounts. This position is dedicated to the Business Development of new customers.

· Responsible for managing customer business development activities associated with advanced technology development, qualification, and production
· Coordinate across internal stakeholders – business units, research and development, technical program managers, customer service, and factories to ensure flawless execution of program objectives
· Perform market research and competitive analysis on target end-products in the mobile communications and computing space
· Provide leadership to a small team of direct reports
· Establish close relationships with key decision makers at various levels and groups within Amkor and the customer
· Establish annual revenue and financial targets
· Establish and manage strategic goals for the account team to contribute to company goals and annual plans
· Negotiate with customers on contracts and pricing
· Develop an understanding of Amkor’s product lines and applications

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 13 years account management/sales experience and a proven track record of sales growth
· Previous experience in semiconductors, electronics, or electronics manufacturing is required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency with MS Office
· Highly developed interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to interact across all levels of the organization
· Flexibility to travel internationally up to 25% of the time

· Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce.com is preferred

Salary Range: $200,000 – 240,000 plus bonus potential
