In this IT role, you will be working alongside Sales as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, responsible for managing customer Projects. Your primary focus will be on customer project and program management. You will collect and evaluate customer requirements and champion those requirements across the organization. You will collaborate with customer and internal business/technical teams, factory production control, finance/billing, and product Business Units. From time to time, you will facilitate other customer IT requests, such as quotes for non-standard billable solutions; coordinate customer cyber security questionnaires and audits, and inquiries related to Amkor’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans. This position is based at Amkor’s Corporate Headquarters in Tempe, AZ or our Sales Office in San Jose, CA.

• Create projects and change requests in Amkor’s ITSM system, following Amkor’s software development life cycle and governance.
• Evaluate and analyze customer requirements to develop project objectives/scope, proposed solution, work breakdown, cost/budget, assumptions/risks, test plans and timelines.
• Negotiate customer requirements that should be removed from scope or changed to align with Amkor processes and systems.
• Communicate to the business potential risk(s) where inefficiencies could be introduced resulting from customer project process requirements.
• Translate customer system terminology/processes to Amkor system terminology/processes.
• Develop functional requirements for handoff to offshore technical teams.
• Align with the business on process changes needed to support project deliverables.
• Lead virtual teams: Project kick-off meetings and regular status meetings. Set expectations, and track progress being made to meet the expected project deliverables and completion date(s).
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communications.
• Attend/host customer meetings on a regular basis, track actions/issues, and publish meeting minutes and/or status reports.
• Oversee customer B2B program changes, production related data issues and issue resolution, to ensure Amkor meets or exceeds customer data accuracy goals or KPIs.
• Publish quarterly reports to Sales for customer business review meetings.
• Develop a solid understanding of Amkor’s global B2B architecture, standard B2B solutions and data collections.
• Act as the customer advocate during Amkor’s systems modernization projects; develop customer test plans and validation steps to ensure no impact to customer B2B programs.
• Maintain a basic understanding of industry B2B standards such as RosettaNet and EDI.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information systems is preferred; however other relevant education and/or job experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with project and program management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead virtual global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with the business and IT.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong alliances with customers and key stakeholders.
• Independent initiative-taker willing to sort through conflicting inputs and goals to help develop and set clear goals and timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and drive clarity in key areas.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and key diligence.
• Effective communication skills to influence customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, while being customer service oriented.
• Collaborative and skilled in working within a team environment.
• Must be flexible to work within both US and Asian business hours.

• Familiarity Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.) and ITSM tools, such as Service Now is desirable.
• Understanding and familiarity with RosettaNet and/or EDI industry standards is helpful.
• PMP Project Management Certification is preferred but not required.
• Semiconductor manufacturing or supply chain management background is a plus.
• This position has the potential for 5% domestic and 5% international travel.
