Amkor Technology is recruiting for an Information Technology Service Desk Sr. Technician based at its corporate offices in Tempe, AZ. This position will provide quality Information Technology support to Amkor end users.

The Service Desk Sr. Technician will perform the following duties at minimum as required, operating in a highly team oriented, proactive, and cost efficient environment:

  • Deliver technology support to the end users of all levels within the organization (including the Executive Management level)
  • Configure and deploy new equipment such as laptops, desktops, desk phones, cellular phones, or related computer accessories
  • Execute software installations to users
  • Conduct user provisioning ad company policy enforcement tasks
  • Assist in collecting and managing information for the asset equipment inventory and update
  • Assist in the deployment of company projects such as IT INFOSEC and IT Infrastructure projects
  • Keeping working areas organized and tidy for an efficient working environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with respect to desktop support in a Windows based environment; Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion and energy for information technology and new technologies
  • High aptitude for learning new software and concepts with attention to detail
  • High competence and knowledge with/of computer/network hardware and software
  • Working experience with Lansweeper, Jamf, Remote Desktop support
  • Working experience with Apple MacBook (MacOS) and iPhones, Windows Laptops, and related softwares
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and thrive under pressure
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and follow defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Can work with all levels of employees within the organization including Executive Management
  • Flexible and willing to provide assistance to other Amkor locations if needed
  • Accomplishment of or certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Jamf, CompTIA A+/Network+ is desired, MacOS
