The Market Analyst role will have a focus in Semiconductor IC market segment dynamics. This position assesses Advanced Packaging and Technology, ecosystem dynamics, application growth and impact to the IC Semiconductor and OSAT supply chain. Support Amkor’s Marketing, Sales, Business Units and Executives with market data analytics. The ideal candidate will be based at the Tempe, AZ Amkor headquarters.

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Automotive OEM, Tier1 and semiconductor ecosystem supply chains.
  • Articulate Amkor value propositions in key growth domain areas ADAS, IVI, NEV and E&E architecture.
  • Analyze automotive global market dynamics and segment lead customer market shares.
  • Keep pace with Automotive system architecture evolutions, technology trends and disruptions, translate into business opportunity identification and/or risk assessments.
  • Identify accelerated market growth trends, collaborate on corresponding G2M and execution strategies with Product Lines and Regional Sales.
  • Proactively engage sales teams with push marketing in new business opportunity targets.
  • Contribute to product and portfolio roadmaps ensuring alignment from market and customer inputs, identify and minimize segment gaps.
  • Collaborate with MarCom to promote Amkor’s automotive portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in engineering, business, marketing strategy, analytics, economics, or similar.
  • Experience in consulting, industry analytics, product management, product strategy or investment research.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative market research skills, including but not limited to data analysis, competitive intelligence, data synthesis, SWOT analysis, and data driven recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the Semiconductor and/or OSAT industry is a must.
  • Self-manage multiple projects and requests while adhering to specified timelines & diverse parameters.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in engineering, business, marketing strategy, analytics, economics, or similar.
  • Experience in consulting, industry analytics, product management, product strategy or investment research.
  •  A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative market research skills, including but not limited to data analysis, competitive intelligence, data synthesis, SWOT analysis, and data driven recommendations.
  • Knowledge of the Semiconductor and/or OSAT industry is a must.
  • Self-manage multiple projects and requests while adhering to specified timelines & diverse parameters.
  • Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) is desired.
  • Proactive thinker with a proven ability to translate technical requirements/issues into business context is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets is desired.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office is desired.
  • Experience working in organizations with cross-functional teams is a plus.
  • Experience multi-tasking and adapting well to a changing environment is a plus.
  • Analytical thinker with strong research proficiencies is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing programs and strategies is desired.
