R&D Engineer

Seeking an outstanding candidate to join the team responsible for the industry leading computational electromagnetic (CEM) engines in the gold standard ANSYS HFSS simulation software product. We are looking for someone to help the team in advanced simulation testing and management of regression tests. The successful candidate will have background in using HFSS, basic software development, and problem-solving skills needed to help diagnose issues with the product. In addition, it is a bonus if the candidate has a background in one or more CEM techniques. As the candidate develops, we anticipate part of the time will be dedicated to exploring HFSS for new advanced applications and help ANSYS ACE engineers to solve challenging simulation problems.

Assist in new feature development testing
Maintain and expand daily regression tests
Basic scripting
Help manage a code commit process
Verification of resolved defects

PhD degree in Engineering, or related technical field, or a Master’s degree in Engineering, or related technical field with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
Good knowledge of electromagnetic theory
Software development experience

PhD degree is preferred
Ability to assist ANSYS ACE engineers to solve challenging simulation problems
Ability to complete high quality work on schedule
