Applied Materials

Applied materials is focusing in the new domain of life sciences for clinical and research markets. We are developing hardware and software for various application in oncology. Our focused effort in developing this vertical requires collection and processing of humongous amounts of medical images. We are developing end to end framework to build a product which would assist pathologist in diagnosis.

The team is looking for Algorithm Developers with solid background in computer vision, Machine learning and Deep Learning. The developer will be expected to work as an individual contributor with the guidance from senior developers and should have innovative thinking ability. The engineer should have experience working on large scale Machine learning/deep learning projects with large scale of data. He/she should have sound understanding of feature engineering, model selection, training, validation and test metrics.

Minimum experience of 4+ years (2+ in Deep Learning) or equivalent academic experience.

Minimum qualification B.E/B.Tech. in Computer science or equivalent stream.

Responsibilities:

Build, Train and Test Multiple machine learning models.
Utilize the full power of multiple GPUs and CPU cores to train and test in the minimum time possible on servers
Individual Contributor
Interested in reading and implementing research papers of relevant field.
Job requirements:

Strong programming skills in python and experience of Ski-Learn/NumPy libraries. (C++ is add on)
Good understanding of Image processing/Computer vision.
Strong experience of Deep Learning frameworks – TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
End to End CNN Model training experience. Eg- ResNets, masked-RCNN, UNet etc.
Good to have:

Experience in Kaggle or any online data science competitions
Experience in Web Application development to deploy trained models.
Experience with AWS/Azure or any other cloud-based ML platform is a big plus
