Job Description
As a Software Engineer in Arm’s Central Engineering Systems Group doesn’t just create software solutions—they help define the future of Systems Products which include IP, platforms, and tools. Our work transcends the typical definition of hardware and software engineering to drive a Best-In-Class Implementation Experience for Arm and our partners. Improving ease of use through smart tooling, which takes advantage of machine learning and automation, is a key goal for the Interconnect Design Automation and Simulation (IDEAS) team. We’d like you to join us.

What will I be accountable for?

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who will contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include development of tools for configuring and building the IP that forms the foundation of the latest SOC designs based on Arm processor technology, as well as modelling EDA workflows for efficiency and flexibility. In addition, the IDEAS team may contribute to software and hardware bring-up and debug of new ARM-based systems. On a day to day basis you will be working closely with the interconnect IP design and verification teams and interface with Arm’s Developer Solutions Group, the creators of Socrates and DS-5. Your responsibilities include:

Assemble the tools and platform for the creation of our next-generation interconnect IP elements.
Create the customer-facing UIs, tools and environment that allow customers, both internal and external, to configure, verify, simulate, tune, and instantiate their interconnect IP.
In conjunction with our performance modeling engineers, specify and/or create the tools and platform for system level modeling and simulation workflows.
