SoC Verification Engineer :

Arm designs the technology that lies at the heart of advanced digital products, from wireless, networking and consumer entertainment solutions to imaging, automotive, security and storage devices. Arm also offers IC designers a wide range of choices from its broad portfolio of high-density, low-power and ultra-low-power standard cell, memory and IO products.

As a SoC Verification Engineer, you will participate in the development of the most recent Arm PDG IoT testchip platform. You will be part of verification team whose responsibility is to guarantee the correct functioning of a SoC, for example the memory sub-system, CPU subsystem, peripheral interface…

You will be accountable for:

Understanding the specification of the SoC you will target;
Defining test plan, creating verification environment. Reporting bugs to design team; plus specifying the verification sign-off criteria;
Building the testbench by using appropriate methodology and programming language(s);
Running tests to stress the design in its last corner cases and find all possible bugs
Delivering patterns to Silicon Validation team and providing debug support during silicon bring-up.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications: 
BE/B. Tech or MS/M. Tech

You bring a variety of skills, experience and qualifications:

You have at least 3+ years of relevant SoC verification.
You have excellent Verilog coding and debugging skills.
You have hands on experience with RTL simulations and Gate simulations using Back-annotation.
You have in depth C and C++ (or System Verilog) programming skills, and strong low-level programming skills in assembly and/or low level C
You are highly motivated to “break” the design and find bugs, and have a reasonable appreciation of the verification methodology linked to this activity

What would give you an edge? Anything among:

You Know AMBA bus architecture (AXI, AHB, APB)
You have been exposed to the RTL hardware design flow and methodology
You have experience on Mentor Tessent MBIST solution.
You have fundamental understanding on DFT.
