About the role

Arm processors are the brains in billions of diverse electronic devices. Our CPU group defines, designs, and validates all of Arm’s processor IP and collaborates with the world’s leading technology companies. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Arm Chandler, Arizona Design Center. Through teamwork, training and dedication to personal development, our goal is that our engineer quickly learns about different aspects of developing highly-complex designs, starts contributing to different project tasks and ultimately develops into an expert in the field. You will be part of engaging, hardworking, and creative team that will provide a fascinating opportunity to innovate and make a meaningful contribution. As part of the CPU performance team, you will develop next-generation CPU microarchitecture via performance modeling, analysis, verification, and workload development.

What will I be accountable for?
Developing next-generation CPU microarchitecture via performance model development and analysis
Identifying opportunities for improvement by profiling and analyzing relevant workloads
Helping to ensure that CPU designs meet performance targets by working closely with RTL designers and by correlating RTL behavior against performance models
