In a small and innovative R+D team, your tasks are centered around the development of new mass spectrometers, which may include Triple-Quadrupole (TQ) and Quadrupole-Time-Of-Flight (QTOF) based mass spectrometers. In the offered role you focus on the development of analog electronics used in this high-sensitivity analytical instrumentation and take the lead from concept to validation while reviewing your work with your internationally organized team. Your challenges are to expand our and your domain knowledge and foster our innovations by pushing the limits beyond today’s standards.
Responsibilities
Design and improve high stability analog and RF electronics
Select components, which may span from low noise operational amplifier to kV DC, as well as high Q MHz AC drivers
Simulate designs and assess stability and noise
Layout, or guide layouters, test and validate your modules on the bench, in the instrument, and occasionally on customer sites
Provide documentation, design transfer to production, and oversee scale up
Collaborate closely with our global R&D team of scientists and engineers, nest into our design and development plan, and hold peer design reviews
