The candidate will work closely with Sales Account Managers and technical field application engineers supporting technical campaigns by delivering workshops, product demonstrations, knowledge transfer and onsite support. The candidate will have expert knowledge of the Cadence tool set and/or equivalent competitor toolsets in the context of multiple flows including high speed signal design, power design, signal integrity and electrical constraints definition. Design experience and industry knowledge of current state of the art in Signal and Power analysis are required, as associated with silicon, IC Package and PCB Designs.

The candidate requires an aptitude to analyze a customer’s environment and assess appropriate solutions; Is knowledgeable and aware of competitive technologies; Anticipates technical issues and develops creative solutions before they become a problem; Understands customer success criteria and is committed to ensuring customer success. Takes responsibility for technical leadership on a wide range of projects; Has expert level understanding of Power and Signal integrity issues at schematic, PCB and Package level. This individual will work with peer Application Engineers and other business groups, and must be competent in working unsupervised at customer locations. The individual must possess excellent communication skills for interfacing effectively with Cadence R&D, Product Engineering, Marketing and customers.
