Responsible for engineering support in the area of productivity for CSBG advanced services. Independently drive engineering projects in support of CSBG Advanced Service Products and quickly turn around solutions for critical productivity / process performance issues. Require strong fundamental understanding in one or more areas including electrical engineering / chemistry / materials processing / plasma physics. Analyze customer data using statistical methods, define problem statement based on systematic problem solving methodology including methodical root cause analysis. Apply critical fundamental understanding of define failure mechanisms, assign root cause hypothesis to explain performance / productivity issues at customer sites. Responsible for setting up tests to reproduce customer reported productivity issues in the demo lab and test solutions. Develop testing approach, analyze results and provide recommendations for resolving issues. Travel to customer site with proposed solutions and support implementation / evaluation of technical solutions.   Good understanding of installed base fab performance and technical aspects of Lam tools required, to support technical execution working with local account team, RPS, and Global Product Group.

 

Secondary function would be to collaborate with internal engineering team to deliver on CIP engineering features.  Will be directly influencing significant revenue projects key to CSBG and Lam businesses. Expectation will be regular visits and discussions with customer and local account team management support CSBG business.
