Mythic – Accelerating AI

Mythic is a fast-paced startup looking for individuals that enjoy broad, flexible roles. The primary responsibility for this position is Static Timing Analysis for Mythic’s chips, but we are looking for individuals with experience across the physical design flow and an interest in growing their skill set and taking on new challenges.
Here’s what you will do:
Work with Architecture and Design teams to understand timing requirements
Develop and verify block level and full chip timing constraints
Drive timing closure, execute STA and perform quality checks to ensure design meets timing with signoff requirements
Analyze timing report and use scripting to debug, automate tasks and provide timely feedback for timing ECO’s
Work closely with digital, analog, and physical design teams for timing optimization
Work with the physical design team on flow development, scripting, block level APR, and other physical design tasks.
Here’s the background we hope you have:
BS/MS in EE/ECE/CSE
5+ years experience in digital design and/or physical design with an emphasis on static timing analysis
Experience with timing large high performance and low power SOC designs
Deep understanding of signal integrity, noise, AOCV, power analysis, and multi-corner timing closure
Experience developing timing ECO’s for design closure
Experience with parasitic extraction and timing annotation flows
SDC development experience
TCL development experience
The following experience would be nice to have, but is not required:
Experience with processor cores and blocks such as PCIe, USB3, MIPI, HDMI, I2C, memory interfaces, etc.
Experience with Design for Test (DFT) and it’s implications for timing analysis
Experience working at startups
Experience with Python or Ruby
Experience with C++ or SystemC
Experience with Mentor and/or Cadence tools
