As a Design-For-Test Solutions, you will be working in a project-oriented environment to deliver DFT Solutions ranging from defining, automating & integration of test products to supporting Bring-Up on Customer designs. It also includes interacting with the customers to assess their methodologies and flows, gather requirements and propose solutions. The primary focus area (but not limited to) for the DFT Solutions Engineer would be SLM (Silicon Life Cycle Management) Products.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:Plan and implement Synopsys Test tool flows to meet test requirements for Automotive, High volume manufacturing etc that includes SLM IPs, Memory BIST, Logic BIST, Scan compression, Boundary scan, 1687, 1838 etc
Create Specification and Implementation plans using Industry Standard Synopsys Test tools – TestMAX and develop methodologies for IPs and PHYs.
Participate in Flow Automation to enable seamless integration of cutting-edge test technologies into Synopsys Test tools & Platforms.
Participate in Development of Reference Flows for our renowned test solutions – Integrate and Verify DFT logic design at IP and SOC level considering improving ATPG QoR and minimizing Performance-Power-Area QoR
Provide sign-off timing and Synthesis constraints for all DFT Components generated by Synopsys Test tools for all DFT modes
Participation in customer’s design and flow reviews;
Generate high quality Manufacturing patterns and assist in Diagnosis and debug on ATE and In-System testing.
Excellent communication and presentations skills are mandatory. Listening, understanding, and interpreting the customer requirements are a key part of the communications skill set. Good technical problem-solving skills are a must.
