Head of Sales Engineering – UK, Theale

Provides team leadership, direction and technical support to pre-sales team in  the regions UK, France, Middle East
Supporting and coaching the team – help to remove obstacles
Build strong partnerships with the sales & customer success team and product management. Navigates collaboratively through ambiguity and across the internal matrix with the spirit of positive partnership
Drive Innovation through thinking in new ways, problem-solving creatively, fostering and incubating innovation in the team
Ensure proper hand-over of engagements to the customer success team
Assists with customer communications during engagements
Diagnoses complex problems and facilitates resolution activities
Identifies process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved
Mentors junior sale engineers
Collaborates with the sales team on strategies to position compelling solutions in complex customer environments
Responsible for team career development, performance management, resource management, coach direct reports & provide constructive feedback
