Responsibilities
• Primarily responsible for development and characterization of processes on Gas Cluster Ion Beam (GCIB) equipment in the applications lab and/or at the customer site in the advanced logic space
• Design and execute process optimization experiments; characterize, compile, and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for equipment, process, or material specifications
• Work closely with TMEA factory and product team, sales and marketing groups, and other functional areas, to prepare changes, additions, and modifications which will facilitate customer adoption and improve quality of process equipment
• Work closely with customer engineers and managers as the primary technical interface, managing input for customer demo and integration experiments
• Responsible for quality execution of all experiments and material processed through the tool, including internal process development activities and customer demonstrations
• Coordinate and execute GCIB tool activities in the applications lab including process development work, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting
• Participate in various integration and strategic activities relevant to this product and customer with internal business units
• May provide work direction and guidance to junior process engineers and process technicians
