RF Test Technician

Wolfspeed is Power & Radio Frequency (RF) and one of the world’s leading suppliers of gallium nitride on silicon carbide (GaN-on-SiC) technology and products. Our business is growing rapidly, and we are hiring a RF Test Technician to join our team, responsible for R&D testing and qualification of our new RF products.

What can you do for Wolfspeed?

Setting up, calibrating, and operating advanced test systems for detailed RF characterization
Using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot test issues in close collaboration with Engineers
Provide high-quality, on-time measurement services for internal and external customers
Identifying areas of improvement and implementing modifications to the measurement process
What you need for success:

AS degree in a technical field or related experience
Ability to work with limited supervision
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communications skills
Must have demonstrated a high level of dependability
Ability to work in a clean room environment
Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
Highly preferred skills and certifications:

Analog or RF measurement experience
At least 2 years semiconductor manufacturing experience
Previous experience working with wafer probers
Soldering and electronic assembly skills
Experience in troubleshooting complex systems
