Here’s the Gist:

Wolfspeed’s Global Operations team is seeking a Product Technician within the RF Product Engineering Group at Wolfspeed. Candidates should be self-motivated, team players that are eager to learn. We are looking for a Product Technician to provide support on 12-hour Night shifts, including alternating weekend coverage, with responsibilities in the Wafer Fab located in NC. This position supports RF production in NC.

 

The Day-to-Day:

Product disposition and sustaining support for RF products in the Wafer Fab.   Activities will include microscope inspections, reworks, incident creation, determining tool commonality and incident root cause, and WIP containment and scrap dispositions.
Monitor inline metrology and defect data on products to identify trends and potential process issues, and work with engineering teams on implementing solutions to these issues.
Increase quality WIP movement through the factory by working closely with Operations, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Equipment teams to improve product cycle times and product yields.
Work closely with the RF Product Engineering Team to develop, document and qualify processes and procedures which will improve yields and cycle time. This will include characterizing, documenting and possibly presenting data based around designed experiments.
Training and supporting other technicians and operators on new processes and changes on RF products.
Interact with Product/Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance group to identify and resolve root cause issues when possible.
 

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen
Associates degree or 3 year of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
Able to work in clean room for extended period
Team player
Must have the ability to work effectively and take initiative with little continuous direct supervision
Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Good communication skills
Positive, professional, and energetic attitude
