ChipEstimate.com provided electronic designers with free access to the company’s InCyte chip-estimation tool, which helped control the cost of ICs at the design creation and specification stage. InCyte was bundled with intellectual property (IP) from various suppliers.
InCyte allowed users to estimate IC cost, yield, die size, power, and leakage, as well as to make architectural and economic tradeoffs across various technology nodes, process variants, and IP options.
