Commercialized the SCALD work from Stanford. Work was funded and owned by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories but put into the public domain.
Cadence acquired Valid Logic in 1991.
- SCALD Corporation deprecated into Valid Logic Systems in 1981. Investors did not like the thought that people would be SCALDed.
