Amkor is hiring a Business Solutions Manager for our corporate office located in Tempe, AZ. This position will support the Business Unit (BU) to maximize revenue and profitability with various analytics projects, product cost validations, systems improvements, and standardization of solutions.
• Support the BU in the development and implementation of strategic plans for business growth (new products or services), expanding markets, and operational efficiency
• Work with the BU on their needs and goals for areas such as revenue and margin programs, analytics, product cost validations, and systems improvements
• Act as a conduit between the BU and other teams (IT, Finance, Marketing, and Operations) to coordinate and execute solutions in achieving company’s goals
• Work with the BU on the implementation of pricing strategies
• Develop process for scalable deployment and monitoring of strategy execution. Ensure effective communication, training and change management
• Support ad hoc business analysis (example: development of strategies to fill empty assets)
• Establish close relationships with key decision makers at various levels and groups of the organization
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking business performance
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or other technical discipline; MBA is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a highly dynamic organization
• Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and proactive approach in managing potential stakeholder needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
• Advanced Excel knowledge for building and automating business models with large data set is a plus
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and JMP software is a plus
• Flexibility to travel domestically and/or internationally up 10% of the time
• Exposure to costing systems, EMS systems of any time is beneficial
