Siemens EDA is looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to help define, promote, and deploy solutions for hardware-assisted verification. As a product expert, you will be part of a worldwide Veloce team working with the latest emulation and FPGA prototyping platforms. You will be working on products to support major advances in emulation virtual and simulation acceleration solutions. This role is for a senior individual with strong communication skills and a good understanding of semiconductor industry trends combined with technical expertise in some of the following areas: emulation and FPGA prototyping, virtual solutions, and industry-standard interface protocols.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Work with Siemens’ sales and development teams to drive product requirements, prioritization and SW release plans based on business and customer needs.
  • Understand vertical market trends and resulting requirements for standard and proprietary interfaces to drive the product development roadmaps for emulation and prototyping.
  • Develop long-term plans based on the emergence and adoption of evolving protocol versions.
  • Present Veloce offerings at tradeshows, seminars, conferences, and customer events.
  • Present Veloce offerings to customer management and engineering teams.
  • Develop customer-ready product collateral, website, and white papers.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations/training on new features, marketing requirement documents, and product updates.
  • Track customer progress and work with Siemens’ customer service, sales, and applications engineers to build strong customer relationships and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Veloce sales team to expand Veloce usage and business.
  • Work closely with other Veloce product managers to align on roadmaps and requirements.
  • Track and manage customer-based product enhancement requests with engineering and customer sales teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience deploying or using simulation, emulation , or prototyping platforms.
  • Prior work in any of these domains is highly preferred:
  • Expertise in IC design or verification using simulation, emulation, or FPGA prototyping platforms.
  • Emulation expertise using accelerated simulation or virtual protocol solutions.
  • Product management defining product features, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as product marketing, technical marketing, applications, or product engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of financial profit/loss calculation, business models, margin calculation, COGs, pricing, and packaging/licensing.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Domain experience in PCI Express, CXL, UCIe, and AMBA protocols.
  • Knowledge of JIRA issue and project tracking and confluence team workspace applications
  • Experience and application of competitive analysis tools
  • Experience with EDA debug tools.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person’s status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $121,400 to $218,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
