Aki Fujimura was a founder of D2S in 2007 and serves as their Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to D2S, Fujimura served as the Chief Operating Officer of Simplex Solutions Inc. and later also served as its President until they were acquired by Cadence in 2002 and served as their CTO for New Business Incubation.
Fujimura served as the Vice President for various pieces of Pure Software.
In 1984 Fujimura was a co-founder of Tangent systems which was acquired by Cadence in 1989 and served as the VP/GM, Central Engineering.
Fujimura holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
