Dan Chapiro is an entrepreneur and consultant.
Chapiro was a founder of Systems Science (SSI) in 1987 and served as their VP of R&D and later as CEO. In 1998, SSI was acquired by Synopsys where he was a chief scientist.

Prior to SSI, Chapiro was a senior engineer at Silicon Solutions and an engineer at Positiva and INTI.

Chapiro holds a Engineer, Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a PhD, Computer Science from Stanford University
