In 2014 Tate was a founder of Flex Logix and holds the title of president and CEO.
In 1990 Tate was the founding CEO for Rambus and took the company public.
Prior to Rambus, he was a senior VP for Microprocessors and Logic within AMD.
Tate holds a BSc in Computer Science from University of Alberta and MBA from Harvard and MSEE (coursework) from Santa Clara University.
