Ghassan Yacoub was with Intel’s Business & Technology Programs organization since 1997.
He co-founder of ASAP Solutions, Inc., an Internet company, whose Indian operation was acquired by Satyam Infoway in 1999 for $115M. ASAP emerged as a reorganization of dQdt in 1994, a company he co-founded in 1993.
He spent 12 years at the Hughes Electronics Corporation where he was Manager of the VLSI Signal Processing Design organization.
Ghassan received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (Applied Physics) from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where he served as a visiting scholar in 1997. He received his MSEE from UC Irvine and BSEE (Electronics Option) from UC San Diego.
