John Croix

Description

John Croix was the founder and CTO of Nascentric.
Prior to Nascentric, Croix was CTO and co-founder of Silicon Metrics Corporation and was the original architect of their standard cell characterization product.

Prior to Silicon Metrics, he worked for AMD where he was responsible for early timing estimation and cell characterization used for the K7 microprocessor design. Prior to AMD he was a member of the IBM PowerPC design, where he developed characterization tools and routing applications. He also spent nine years developing CAD tools for Texas Instruments in their Design Automation Division and their ASIC division.

Croix received his Ph.D. from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department of The University of Texas in Austin in 2002 for his work in cell and interconnect timing analysis.
