Peter Rip died in 2010. Rip joined Crosslink, a VC company in 2006 to focus on Digital Media & Internet Services and Software & Business Services. Rip was also a partner a Leap[frog Ventures and Knight Ridder Ventures.
Rip co-founded Silicon Compiler Systems, in 1981, whcih was acquired by Mentor Graphics in 1991.
Rip has a BA from Brandeis University and a Ph.D. (Marketing) Stanford Graduate School of Business
