Description

Philippe Duchene founded Defacto Technologies Sa in 2003 and also serves as Vice President for Engineering.
He was a founder and served as president, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering for Snaketech until its acquisition by Simplex in 2000. From 2000 to 2002, he served as the head of the French R&D operations for Simplex, until it was acquired by Cadence in 2002.

He began his career as a research assistant at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, and has also worked as in independent consultant for various European semiconductor companies.

He holds an MSEE from the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a PhD from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology).
