In 2003, Pravin Madhani was co-founder, president and CEO of Sierra Design Automation, which was acquired by Mentor in 2007. At Mentor, Madhani was GM of Mentor’s Place and Route Division.
Prior to Sierra, Madhani was founder, president and CEO of Everest Design Automation in 1997 which was acquired by Synopsys in 1998
Early work experience came from Silicon Graphics and LSI Logic.
Madhani has a B.Tech EE from IIT Bombay and a MS in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas, Austin.
