Richard Doherty is Director, Connected Technology Strategy at Dolby Laboratories. Doherty has held senior technical positions at Microsoft, Panasonic Hollywood labs, CineForm, was a founder of FilmMatch and CTO of Zodo.
In 1991 Doherty was a founder of Silerity and served as VP of engineering. Silerity was acquired by Viewlogic.
Doherty holds a BS, Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and a MFA, Film & Television Production from USC.
