Scott Powel is currently working for Broadcom where he is a senior engineering director for the Ethernet Phy group.
He was lead system architect at Centerpoint Broadband Technologies.
In 1993, Powel was co-founder and President of dQdt Inc., which was acquired by Mentor in 1996.
Powell received BSEE and MSEE degrees from Oregon State University and a PhD in EE from UC San Diego.
