Tom Paddock has been the CEO of Sound Research Corporation since 2010
In 2000 Paddock founded Sonic Focus and was their CEO. Sonic Focus was acquired By ARC, which was a acquired by Virage which was acquired by Synopsys. At Synopsys he was director or R&D.

Paddock was a principal acoustic systems architect for Grateful Dead, Windham Hill, Cher, Different Fur Recording, Mickey Hart, One Pass Video, Bob Weir, The Tubes, Jerry Garcia, George Winston, Huey Lewis and the News, Carlos Santana, David Byrne and Brian Eno, among others. Mr. Paddock was the acting CTO for Grateful Dead Productions and the creator of www.dead.net and www.cher.com.

Paddock holds a Bachelor of Science, Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from San Jose State University
