Two linked operations serving the EDA market. They are Electronic Design Automation Services Europe B.V. (EDAS) and The CAE Company B.V. (TCC).
Both TCC and EDAS were formed from TRANSFER Electronic Design Support, located near Twente University in the Netherlands. TRANSFER EDS was founded in 1988 by Tonnie Tuinte and Ton Zengerink, two graduates from the College of Technology in Enschede. The CAE Company was formed by TRANSFER in 1993 as a result of continued growth in theViewlogic business, specifically to assume responsibility for sales in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg of the full range of EDA tools from Viewlogic.
