They achieve this by employing a combination of FPGA like logic (look up tables) and a single via for routing. This has with low up-front costs, and they can deliver tested prototypes in only 5 weeks from tape out. They offer a portfolio of soft IP including Tensilica Diamond Cores, H.264, DDR2, PCI Express (Gen1 and Gen2), SATA, Fiber Channel and Ethernet MAC.
Feb 19th 2015 – Announced that it has publicly filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering have not been determined. eASIC intends to apply to list its common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol ‘EASI’.
