In 1995, Bose was founder, president and CEO of Interra Inc. As part of the development within Interra, Bose founded Atrenta in 2001 and became their chairman, president and CEO. He remained chairman of the board at Interra.
Bose was Vice President of engineering for Cadence and the head of integrated circuit design automation at Bell Labs.
Bose has a B Tech, EE from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a PhD, Electrical & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
