Donald Bennett (July 8, 1959 – September 22, 2011) was founder, vice president & chief scientific officer at Anasim.
In 2003, Bennett formed RLCSim Co. after being laid off in 2002 by SuperH Inc., an MPU core vendor. Bennett expanded the scope of the tool, changed its name to Picosim and changed his company’s name to Quantum Design Automation Ltd.
He was the inventor of the Effective Current Density model that dramatically simplified electro-magnetic simulation complexity for symmetric GRID structures.
He contributed to ComLSI and ST Microelectronics among his many industry assignments.
