Description

Johnson Limqueco was a founder and Vice-President of Research and Development of Oasys, which was acquired by Mentor in 2013.
Prior to Oasys, he was R&D Group Director at Cadence Design Systems, managing the SOC Encounter Physical Synthesis team. Before that, he managed the Ambit Synthesis team at Cadence responsible for logic synthesis, physical synthesis, low-power and DFT. He was one of the core architects at Ambit Design Systems who developed the key technologies in BuildGates and PKS before the acquisition by Cadence.

Prior to Ambit, Limqueco was a member of the Synthesis Team at AT&T Bell Labs Design Automation Group.

Limqueco holds a Ph. D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
