IBM Foundry was known foundry, analog, mixed-signal.
Headquarters were in Fishkill, NJ, USA.
The IBM specialty foundry portfolio included:
- RF SOI and SiGe technologies geared for RF switches, power amplifiers and integrated front-end applications in mobile devices.
- High performance SiGe technologies tuned for a range of performance-driven RF applications.
- High voltage offerings and RF and high voltage device integration.
In 2012 and 2013, they were ranked 11th in terms of revenue, but revenues had generally been falling since 2005. IN 2002 they had been the third largest behind only TSMC and UMC.
IBM Foundry was acquired by GlobalFoundries in 2014.
