Winbond Electronics Corporation is a specialty memory IC company covering product design, research and development, and wafer fabrication.

Major product lines include NOR and NAND code storage flash memory, secure flash, specialty DRAM, and mobile DRAM. Its products are used in automotive, industrial, communications, PCs, and consumer electronics.

In 1995, Winbond listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE:2344).


September 2020: Nuvoton Technology acquired the Semiconductor Business of Panasonic Corporation.

July 2008: Spun off the Computer IC, Consumer Electronics IC, and Logic Product Foundry product lines as subsidiary Nuvoton Technology Corporation.
