Swami Venkat is the senior director of strategic programs in the Synopsys Verification Group, responsible for managing interactions with strategic customers. Prior to his current role, Venkat was responsible for marketing of the Galaxy Design Platform and for product marketing of functional verification tools in the Verification Group. He joined Synopsys in 1998 and has 20 years of experience in the VLSI design and EDA industries. Venkat has a B.S.E.E. from Mangalore University in India and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University.
