Printed Circuit Board (PCB)

The design, verification, assembly and test of printed circuit boards

While much of the industry is concentrated on the design and verification of silicon chips, all chips need to be mounted on a board. In addition, it is rare that everything will be integrated into a single chip, meaning that they need to be interconnected. This is the role of a printed circuit board (PCB). PCBs are also the point at which displays and other physical connectors will be attached.
